The annual National Safety Awareness Week is January 14 – 22 with a variety of events, programs and activities at Vermont ski resorts. PHAT, Protect Your Head at All Times is a helmet advocacy program supported by Vermont Children's Hospital at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, Vermont that works with the National Ski Patrol and other partners to encourage all skiers and riders to wear helmets so they have a safer experience on the slopes.
