Canada’s regions create an artistic mosaic with their diversity – the Maritimes, Rockies, Plains, Old Quebec, First Nations, and more. Inspired by Thom Thomson, Canada’s unique artists (known as The Group of Seven) felt that Canadians would recognize themselves if they saw the beauty of their landscape. This program, by William Tortolano, presents their works with many slides, video clips and commentary. A Vermont Humanities Council program.
