Vermont beer is booming! Savor statewide packages and tasting tours of what The Huffington Post calls the Best Craft Brew State.
Vermont is on the bucket list of beer lovers near and far, and for good reason. Vermont’s craft beer industry has grown from a few early start-ups to more than 30 today, and Vermont is first in the nation in breweries and brew pubs per capita. Beer Lovers Getaways are ‘hopping’ these days, and Vermont craft brews are featured on most menus, from delis to fine dining. In fact, restaurant and pub purchased alcohol has increased by 35 percent in the last decade: cheers to that! Labels include Otter Creek, Long Trail, Harpoon, Magic Hat, Hill Farmstead, The Alchemist, Switchback, Lawson’s Finest, Wolaver’s and Rock Art, and several new start-ups are fermenting. Grab your growlers and come experience Vermont’s brew scene for yourself!
Can’t decide on just one? The Vermont Brewery Challenge Passport, provides beer lovers with a ‘passport’ to get stamped during visits to dozens of local breweries and brewpubs for prizes.
