Open Studio Weekend celebrates its 20th anniversary and has 260 artists and craftspeople opening their studios for special exhibits and demonstrations. Look for the yellow signs along the road and visit www.vermontcrafts.com. Cheer on thousands of runners in Burlington at The Key Bank Vermont City Marathon on Sunday. It’s the largest and most famous of the many footraces in the Green Mountain State. Join the party along Church Street’s outdoor restaurant venues or at the waterfront park. Visit Killington for a faster paced race as elite and professional cyclists compete in the 3 day Killington Stage Race, Friday through Sunday. Visit www.killingtonstagerace.com to learn more and sign up: Sunday’s ride is open to all levels.
Memorial Day also marks the opening of six Vermont’s historic sites, host to a full schedule of exhibits and events.
