Fall Features - Scenic Drives

Western Counties
Beginning in Rutland City… ~130 miles
> Travel Route 4 east through Mendon, Killington, and West Bridgewater to Bridgewater Corners. Sothern Vermont [map]
> In Bridgewater Corners take Route 100A to Route 100 south to the junction with Route 103.
> Take Route 103 west through Healdville and Bowlsville to East Wallingford then take Route 140 west to Wallingford.
> From Wallingford take Route 7 south to Danby, then take Town Highway #33/ Bon Hill Rd. West from Danby to Pawlet.
> Follow Route 30 north through Hubbardton, and about 7 miles north of Hubbardton take a right on to St. John's Road, then Burr Pond road, then Long Swamp Road into Brandon.
> Take Route 7 to Proctor and Route 3 South from Proctor to Center Rutland, and 4B into Rutland City .
Alternate Route - ~98 miles
> Take Route 7B south to intersection with Route 103.
> Turn left onto Route 103 and follow it east through East Wallingford, Bowlsville, Healdville, Ludlow and to the intersection with Route 131 in Proctorsville.
> Travel east on Route 103 through Cavendish, Downers, Amsden and to Route 12 in Ascutney.
> Turn right onto Route 12 south to Route 11.
> Turn right and travel west on Route 11 through Springfield, Chester, Simonsville, North Windham and into Londonderry.
> Take right on to Route 100 north through Weston to Route 155.
> Drive Route 155 north to Route 140 west to Wallingford and intersection with US Route 7/ Route 7B.
> Take either Route north to return to Rutland and complete this scenic loop.
