It's Time for Vermont

With the change of each season, comes new beginnings. This couldn’t be truer during the winter, when the landscape undergoes the most dramatic visual change from vivid hues to a solace white blanket of snow.

This beautiful thing called life can move you in multiple directions at once. Family obligations. Work deadlines. News headlines. Social media scrolls. It can be exhausting. You deserve a moment to breathe – inhale deeply and take in the crisp mountain air that only arrives in the Green Mountains.

Welcome to winter; the season of snow days, snowmen making, first runs on fresh powder, icy beards, warm socks, comfy sweaters, ugly sweaters, hot cocoa, winter brews, and – most importantly – snuggling up with the ones you love.

There’s something about the cold that tends to bring people together, and perhaps that’s why Vermonters literally wait on the snow. This “giving” time of year reminds us all to take care of each other, whether that means letting someone grab the next chair up the mountain, inviting friends over for a big family dinner, or paying for a total stranger’s admission into a gallery or museum. This winter, it’s time for a change.

This winter, It’s Time for Vermont.
