As the train arrives in Brattleboro, you'll see Mt. Wanntastiquet.
At the train station, you'll find the Brattleboro Museum & Art Center.
Next to the train station, walk half way over the bridge to New Hampshire for phenomenal river and mountain views.
Across the street, enjoy more views and brews at the Whetstone Station Restaurant and Brewery. Hermit Thrush Brewery (0.3 mile) and Saxtons River Distillery (2.3 miles) are also both within walking distance.
The Creamery Covered Bridge is 1.6 miles from the Amtrak station and a short, ten-minute cab ride will get you to the West Dummerston Covered Bridge - the longest covered bridge still in operation in Vermont.
The New England Center for Circus Arts (1.1 mile) and New England Youth Theatre (0.3 miles) are in walking distance from the train station.
Rent bikes and boats from local rental and tour operations Diverse Directions Cycling Tours and Vermont Canoe & Kayak Touring Center.
Retreat Petting Farm is 1 mile away from the station.

After a long day of adventure and explorations, take in a show at the historic art deco Latchis Theatre, located just around the corner from the station, and then stay in one of their rooms at the attached Latchis Hotel.
