Food Truck Roundup | Brattleboro
Thursdays, June 22nd - August 24, 2023 
Round up your family, friends, and neighbors and head to Retreat Farm for great food from over ten different food trucks, craft brews at the Thirsty Goat bar, ice cream, live music, lawn games, and more. Bring a blanket, chair, or just yourself.

RockFire | Barre
June 24, 2023 
RockFire is a combination of fire, music, and art set in Millstone Hill’s abandoned granite quarries and industry ruins. The event celebrates central Vermont’s colorful granite heritage and features a two mile-long Firewalk, lit by thousands of candles and luminaries with dozens of bonfires, all leading to variety of fire-lit art installations and live musical performance stages.

Moos & Brews & Cocktails Too! | Woodstock
July 28, 2023 & September 8, 2023 
Find out what the cows do after hours on the farm at Billings Farm & Museum. Get to know the famous Jersey cows and enjoy Vermont beer and craft spirits. With a drink in hand, guests can stroll the Farmstead Gardens, play lawn games, churn butter, and enjoy live music. Brush a cow, meet an adorable calf, learn fun facts from Farm Educators, and receive plenty of loving cow kisses.

St. J Final Fridays | St. Johnsbury
June 30, July 28, August 25, 2023 
Partners Discover St. Johnsbury, the Town of St. Johnsbury, and Catamount Film & Arts present St. J Final Fridays, bringing a street fair and nightlife feel to the downtown on the final Friday evenings of the summer months. The event culminates with a LevittAMP St. Johnsbury concert produced by Catamount Arts that turns the street into a concert venue for world-class music. Enjoy art, food, music, culture, and fun.

Mad Marathon, Mad Half & Relays | Warren, Waitsfield
July 9, 2023 

The Mad Marathon and Mad Half courses have been designed to enhance the rural and unique setting of the Mad River Valley while highlighting Vermont’s exceptional farmlands. Winding through 26.2 miles of brilliant landscapes with panoramic views of the Green Mountains, runners are mesmerized by their surroundings and fascinated by the working homesteads, vast acres of summer corn, barnyard animals, curious cows and majestic horses.


Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival | Middlebury
August 23-27, 2023 
The Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival supports, promotes, and exhibits the dynamic and imaginative efforts of new filmmakers from around the world. MNFF’s unwavering commitment is to offer a level playing field to the new and emerging voices in independent filmmaking, to give audiences an opportunity to discover fresh and engaging talent, and to give filmmakers a chance to be discovered in a setting that is all about their work, from start to finish.

Plymouth Folk and Blues Festival | Plymouth
September 2-3, 2023 
During Labor Day Weekend, the Calvin Coolidge State Historic Site comes alive with authentic folk and blues music. Stars from Vermont and internationally known musicians team up for a lively two-day festival of folk and blues music performed in the pure country air of historic Plymouth Notch, birthplace of the 30th U.S. President.

Von Trapp Oktoberfest | Stowe
September 16, 2023 
Celebrate Oktoberfest at the von Trapp Brewing Bierhall with beer, food, a stein holding contest, and more. Enjoy music by The Inseldudler band and take in the spectacular mountain views at this 2,600-acre mountain resort by the family that inspired “The Sound of Music.”

Vermont Wine & Harvest Festival | West Dover, Wilmington
September 22-24, 2023 
Set in the backdrop of Vermont’s world-renowned fall foliage, discover, savor, and enjoy Vermont vintners, small specialty food producers, chefs, painters, publishers, cheese makers, potters, jewelers, photographers, farmers, and more.

Woodstock’s Wassail Weekend | Woodstock
December 8-10, 2023 
The weekend of events features twinkling lights, horse-drawn wagon rides, musical events, carolers, and a Victorian themed horse and carriage parade. This magical event will enchant visitors of all ages. Make an ornament, enjoy a roaring bonfire, and sing carols on the Green.

Winter Rendezvous | Stowe
January 2024 

Enjoy Stowe’s LGBTQ Winter Pride Festival and experience a diverse lineup of activities and entertainment over five days of wintry bliss. Ski and snowboard on Mount Mansfield or snowshoe at the Trapp Family Lodge. Other outdoor activities include ice skating, horse-drawn sleigh rides, snowmobiles, dog sledding, hot tubs, and bonfires.

Harris Hill Ski Jump | Brattleboro
February 2024 
Celebrate a 102-year tradition where an international field of competitors vie to break the 341-foot hill record on New England’s only Olympic-size 90-meter ski jump. Watch the daring flight of jumpers soaring at speeds up to 60 miles per hour. Enjoy a festive atmosphere that’s fun for the whole family, with music, food, souvenirs, bonfire, beer tent, and more.
